The book had a nice blending of the horrors of war and the beauty of new love.

I enjoyed the sisters relationship and hearing about women’s contributions to the war efforts. I was less impressed with the narrator.

I learned so much

Well researched. Loved the characters! Brava on women in non-traditional roles. Will there be a sequel?

The narrative was fantastic and the storyline was exciting and memorable. Could clearly picture the imagery thanks to the Author's writing.
