Exceeded my expectations!

I’ll say I low expectations. But have grown to love JBH on the today show and wanted to give this a book a go because I’ve enjoyed their press interviews of the book. Truly, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll smile and enjoy the book so much. I can imagine listening to it again just for JBH’s hilarious narrations.

Love these girls!

This was such a fun book! Yes, it will make you laugh and cry but I loved that each of the girls narrated their chapters. When George H. W. Bush died recently I was reminded of the beautiful stories the girls told about Poppy. As the mother of four daughters I only hope that they will experience this incredible bond throughout their life.

I laughed and cried

I loved hearing the intimate details of the strong women behind the men in the family and the sensitive topics of life, death and war. Such a good listen - love hearing both of them back and forth telling their story.

Lifelong Democrat loved this book!

I am a die hard democrat who was surprised at how much I loved this book - and the Bush family! Politics aside, it was fascinating to get to know these young women and get a glimpse into their relationships with their famous parents and grandparents. It was also great to hear them read their own stories. Jenna is a slightly better “performer” than her super smart sis, but that’s all part of their story. I came away loving the family though still dislike many of their political views. Fun little listen!
