Simply The Best!

Oh, I do love that word "simple", especially when we are talking about gardening. This very well-put-together audiobook is a simple look at growing vegetables and herbs in small spaces. I love this idea. The book simplifies the process and doesn't overcomplicate things. I'm an amateur gardener and I needed this book. A delighted customer.

No more excuses!

If you have a small space but yearn to “eat off the land,” this is a great book to help you get started. Living in Southern California, real estate is at a premium and we don’t have the luxury of big yards. Even so, many of our friends are able to grow our fresh fruit and veggies in containers. I was always intimidated by the idea since I don't have a green thumb. This book holds your hand as you plan for your container garden. What to plant, what kind of soil to use, the best tools for success - it’s all here and laid out for you to easily understand. There are so many variables when it comes to growing your own produce and this book will get you on your way as it did for me. I love having fresh tomatoes ready to go, right outside my patio door!

Container gardening made really simple

We have a really limited amount of space in our current home for a large garden, which peaked my interest in container gardening (this book really shows you how to have beautiful container grows in small spaces). The pot-soil recipes here are incredibly delicious and it’s so nice to know that your food is truly organic. This is a brilliant and comprehensive guide for beginners to the advanced green-thumb.

Lots of Useful Info on Container Gardening

Most of my gardening experience is from large garden plots so this audiobook was a great way to start learning about using containers instead. Had never thought that the colour of your container was important or considered making my own potting soil. Was also interesting to find out you could use Aspirin to control blight. Worth the listen!

In Depth!

This is great, I've wanted to start a garden but didn't know where to start. After listening to this I feel much more confident. It is very in-depth but also very simple, there are many facts to help your fruits and vegetables grow and tips and tricks to know when to water and exactly how much! I think I will start out with growing some strawberries, Excited to get my garden going!

Just what I needed to get started!

I have always wanted to have fresh herbs that I grow myself to use in the kitchen but I have been intimidated at the whole process. I don't have a big back yard, or the time to dedicate to a large greenhouse. This book has opened me up to new ideas about how I can have my herbs without all the fuss! I am so excited I came across this book and I highly recommend it to others.

Great place to start!

I have a garden in the ground but I’ve been considering adding some pots. But I had no idea where to start. This was an excellent starter guide with a lot of great tips that I will be using! I’ll be buying the paperback version for easy access to those tips!

Getting there, anyway. Now I can grow veggies indoors in containers, which I just LOVE. This book was super informative, clear and well-written. Great for newbies and more experienced gardeners like me. Highly recommended!
