"Silence" (dt. Schweigen) ist der wichtigste Roman des gefeierten japanischen Autors Shusaku Endo. Er verursachte nach seiner Veröffentlichung im Jahr 1966 eine große Kontroverse in Japan. Be careful ordering this, the Audible is in GERMAN! Yes, the description is in German too. But, I went from the book description right to the Audible and didn't notice the damn thing is not in English. I feel totally ripped-off by Amazon and Audible. There does not seem to be a way to return an Audible for refund. So, lesson learned. But, who would have thought the book in English that they'd be selling a German audible without a pretty visible warning.
