Zelazny was a wonder and revisiting Amber is a treat

That said — while I am loving listening to the series — the cost is rapacious and the narrator mediocre.

But, in the end, the Amber books are treasures of essential reading and Zelazny was a master of speculative fiction.

Bring Back The Lord Of Light!

There are a lot of positive reviews popping up in support of this rendition of the Chronicles Of Amber. They are well deserved. Very original and at times very funny. The narration is excellent.

Roger Zelazny also wrote an excellent novel called the Lord Of Light and it was available through Audible in the not too distant past. Right now it is unavailable. As much as I am loving Amber, I think the Lord Of Light might be better and I encourage you all to request it as it is definitely in my top 5 and it should not be lost in the shuffle of publishing rights mumbojumbo. Request on, faithful readers/listeners.

Zelazny!!! What else is there to say.

Zelazny is Always fantastic for me. I read every one that my local library had when I was a kid, and listen to them now.

great books

this is really good book, better than the second one. I am eager to read the force and see what happens. I would suggest reading the first two books before reading this one. Otherwise you're not going to understand it. These books don't seem to stand alone very well. If you read the entire series though, then these books are really good.

Amazing story, great narration!

I'm a big fun of the series. The narrator did an excellent job, and made the experience just awesome!

ridiculous voices for all characters

would much rather have the version read by Zelazny himself. This narrator tries to use a different voice for each character and its terrible.

More Twists

Corwin has taken over in Amber and now needs to figure out what is going on .

Good story line

On to the next book. Good narration and characters. I like it still after reading it years ago.
