THE STORY

Another excellent black libary book

This book delivers a captivating story, mostly from the traitor perspective. Recommended for all warhammer 40K fans.

The personality of the Alpha legion is well represented. The story is solid and interesting.

This book had a very good story that came to a good conclusion while leaving enough open for the Reader’s imagination. The Alpha legion is well represented appearing as less corrupted than other traitors but not totally unaffected with slight mutations that give personality to the apparently uniform Alpha legionaries. Definitely give this a read if you like Alpha legion or just good 40k books.

love the entire book and the pov of alpha legioni! their reaction to primaris was great!

Great story.

The performer makes baffling accent and accentuations pretty regularly. It's distracting and ruins the story's flow here and there, but I enjoyed the story and would listen to it again. I might avoid the performer in future purchases.

Doesn’t let you go

From the opening chapters to the final moments this book managed to keep me engaged and interesting the entire time. I burned through this one in just a few days. Highly recommend

Wonderful portrayal of the Alpha Legion

Brilliantly written, excellent understanding of each faction portrayed and overall a great read all around.
I enjoyed every moment of this book and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Alpha Legion or wants a good action packed heist story

New faces and heavy hitters

Not going to lie when I saw that Kharn and Celestine were in a book about some new Alpha Legionnaires I was worried that they were there just to give the book something draw eyes to, but to my suprise and enjoyment they did a great job with them and the new boys. Doesn't matter if your fans of Chaos or The Imperium you'll get a have a good time with this one

Great narrator (guy from BG3!)

Plot armor for the enemies was a little much. I think Karn was OP even for Karn

40K heist story

Fun look at an Alpha Legion war band as they complete their mission and encounter primaris marines for the first time

The conflict between the Unsung about being tainted by chaos as a gift or reject it as the corruption it is.

Great story, great battles, made me appreciate the Alpha Legion and Imperial Fist, love this group of Unsung and their inner strifes, hope to have a continuation of their stories and maybe meet and interact with their primarch when he eventually returns.
