Even better than the first

Book 2 I’d even better than the first. Love the story and watching as Allie adjusts to her new life and her guys. This story doesn’t disappoint, and Heather does a fantastic job with the narration. Ready for book 3.

Ms Lawson has a very unique way of building a complete world and then expanding on it. She hasn't missed a detail yet.
We met Allie and her 2 mates, but she is now being forced to choose a pack, but something keeps tickling her instincts about why she is being forced to choose. As it stands, her 2 best friends are bitten and the choice is left in Allie's hands. AND another cliffhanger.
Dive into this storyline of shifter wolves, and get it all from another point of view/world.
Would I listen to this book again? YES
Would I recommend this book to others? YES as long as they are 18+
This is a very slow burn RH series, but still over 18 if you are into shifters.

Wow, Book 2 definitely brought it, better than 1!

The story amazingly progresses in book 2 of Elena Lawson’s Wolves of Forest Grove series! The way things ended in book 1, you know stuff was gonna go down. The whole mate thing is very interesting (and the explanation totally came out of left field and I loved it!). I am super intrigued where its going to go in book 3! I loved seeing the softer side of Clay, I mean it was a similar trope but I still wanted it and was begging for more time with them. I hated even more characters in this book than I did book 1 haha. I also got teary eyed when some other things were revealed regarding Allie’s friends (and the ending!!!!!). Ugh I am dying for book 3, Can August be here already?!?! I didnt plan this out well hahaha. Wont give away any spoilers, but I really liked this story/relationship development and cant wait to see what happens next ❤️

Narration was done really well again! No complaints, I liked how she dealt with Allie’s feral side and with the new characters that were introduced or side characters that got more screen time. Great job, will definitely be listening to more audiobooks narrated by Heather!

Great book

I really enjoyed this book. I have read it before and the audible reader did a good job. Things are progressing at a snails pace with her two mates, but it’s actually more natural than other book series. No sex. I will let my preteen read this.

Angst Filled Werewolf Series

Ok, full disclosure, I really love this series!
It is full of angst and hard choices, friendship drama and family issues- as well as all the werewolf action (including a super inconvenient mate bond!) I could love. This is the second book in the series and it picks up after book 1 ends, with Allie having just been turned into a werewolf against her will and now finding herself in the awkward spot of having two mates. Two equally wonderful, very different but perfect mates. Ok, you got me, I love both the guys so much and am totally rooting for a love connection- but that does not happen here. There were so many times I just wanted to yell at the book "JUST KISS ALREADY!" but alas I held my tongue and tried to wait the characters out. I think this is listed as a reverse harem, but there was no sexy time in this book, only I think one kiss occurred at all.
Side note, the main character curses like a sailor (which I am entertained by) and there is conversations about possible rape, verbal and physical abuse, illness, as well as violence, but is super PG for sex.

I listened to this audio (even though I have the ebook also) and I blew through the book in one day because I was obsessed and could not stop. The ending was the most terrible of cliff hangers, completely leaving me wanting more and stomping on my heart at the same time, answering none of my questions. I can't wait until the third and final book is released so I can have more werewolves in my life!
