Imps, demons and others intermarry providing unique skills and abilities. Garner follows the season of a carnival attached to the most exclusive club in the universe. He meets a lady who controls three elements (earth, water and fire) in her act in the show. At the same time he is introduced to a lady at a society ball and they become inseparable. The threads and intrigues are woven masterfully by Mary K. with excellent narration by Faulkner. A good listen! I was provided with a copy of this audiobook for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
