Intelligent Intrigue

I loved that intellectually I never got bored. They threw in something from history, science, or computers always changing things and keeping you wondering or guessing. It didn’t take away from the story and it made it hard to stop listening because if you found a stopping point you knew something was about to change or reshape the story. I loved this book.

Great story!

It was nice getting to hear more about Petra and Jessie. Another great book from the author.

Another well written story that furthers Petra's story after the events of taking down the corporation.

Unleashed power

Petra and Jesse are ready to make a life together when Petra realizes her demons (literally) are not going to allow her to have the quiet happiness she has dreamed of. The story is a bit of a sad one as Petra tries to run from her demons and Jesse tries to chase after what they could be together, if Petra will just allow it. We know and love these characters from AL Knorr’s born of air - part of the elemental series. This is a break of series focused just on these two. Since this is book one of three there is so much more to come.

WOW! I read this book when it came out, but narration REALLY brings it to life.

Literal chills. I love the demon voice. It's so spooky and creepy and the narration really brings the book to life. It helps so much with visualizing what I'm reading. I love the dual narration, both narrators are spectacular. I loved the dynamic of Petra and Jesse when I read it the first time, but it's even better when narrated!

The best Knorr book I've read this year!

Shadows of the Fallen: A Trespass of Angels, Book 1, my fortieth read from author A.L. Knorr. Extremely well written, the characters, intensely well-developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters, who and what they are, why they do the things they do. The things that make the reader get invested into the characters and thereby the story.The best Knorr book I've read this year! Eden Gabay & Jenn Frost's tag-team narration adds to the enjoyment of this Audible book. I’ll be reading more from this author with Sins of the Fallen (A Trespass of Angels Book 2) coming out later this week and Wrath of the Fallen (A Trespass of Angels Book 3) coming out next year.
