Shadows in the Ashes

I have loved so many of this authors books. Her “Runes” series being my favorite. While character development occurs, this book drags until about 3/4 of the way. Very good at seamlessly changing places & times. Love that first person impressions are given by all main characters. It becomes a book that is intriguing, exciting, & heartfelt. Justice is so important to me in books. This one would be great for an archeological sequel.
Excellent narration. This narrator is one of my absolute favorites!
