The best shadowrun book ever. Been waiting on this one

I own 5 copies of this novel, in varying conditions. I pick up copies of it whenever I come across one. Hopefully they will do the whole dirk Montgomery series. The only change I would make to this would be Michael Biehn doing the males voice work. But this VA does a great job. And the original art cover would be better than the one that’s pictured.

Still the best Shadowrun novel ever.

The dual narrators, coupled with Nigel Findley's writing makes this the best catalyst audio book yet. 100% chip truth chummers. Wakarimasu ka!?

Been waiting an exceptionally long time for this one. There are many excellent authors in the realm of Shadowrun. There is only one Nigel Findley, and his works are (to me) the definitive Shadowrun. I thoroughly enjoyed this reading, and now waiting patiently for the next

Great Performance with a good Story

The narrators did a great job matching the pacing and tone of the story. 2XS itself is a great Shadowrun story. Great choice having dual narrators, it added depth to the listening experience.

I truly do not understand what it was... but there was something just not quite there.
very good story and performances, but, maybe the voices were too close to similar for different characters or just something?
Being a fan of the game, this story follows the game iterations. I feel the game unfold with twists and turns.
Plot and journey well done. Enough to keep me reading on, but just not the pull into the next chapter as in other stories. It never made me late on other life happenings.
characters developed well and side tracked events to increase tension.
overall, very good and enjoyable.
I recommend this story. It could lead you into a world of shadows.
