the character in the main story is wonderful! choicing that drove me nuts is the chick who read the book cuz she made Rose sound very whiny and I didn't like that because she's supposed to be badass.

Love the story, not the narrator.

I love this whole series. I’ve actually read the books, and wanted to listen to them once I became an Audible member. As we all do when we’ve read a book, I put voices and nuances to each character, and unfortunately this narrator did not meet my expectations. All of the characters sound the same. Of course I understand how hard it is, especially for women, to change your voice to portray a character, but to me this should be a prerequisite for this job. The least that could have been done was give Dimitri his Russian accent and not make Rose sound so whiny.

Another great story

loved it. love how it continues where the other leaves off. narrator is good. if u like vampire academy then keep listening . you will love the rest of the books in the series.

Narrator got better or I just got used to it

Amazing, amazing story. Grab some tissues, because everything changes. Maybe not the best narrator, but she did okay. And you get used to the character voices. Although, theres a new narrator next book...

This series just keeps getting better!

Rose is being invaded by not one but two unwanted visitors. Something dark and deadly is going on and she’s abnormally on edge. Vicktor is finally going on trial and he knows something that Rose & Dimitri and do want let out. Lissa is being scrutinized by the Queen and if all that is not enough it is time for the guardian trials. There is something dangerous in the air and in Rose. It might just ruin everything she has tried so hard to accomplish. Then there is Adrian and the new part he is taking up in everyone’s lives.

The most action packed book of the series yet and it gripped tight on to my heart and kept me in fear. There are so many exhilarating situations! There are new puzzles and pieces are getting put together from existing ones. This series just keeps getting better.

This book was great. To see them finally be able to love each other. The fighting the sadness, it’s just a great series and book.
