What difference does a week make?
I'm Angie Ritter, former army mage and recovering headcase. Seven days ago, I was struggling to survive without my magic. Now I'm on the run with a family of werewolf super-soldiers. Not going to lie. I'm in trouble - a lot of trouble: A cult of dragon-worshipping fanatics wants to cut my heart out, vampire assassins hunt me, and even my own countrymen want to hang me for treason.
Oh, and a dark empire plots to conquer the entire West Coast. It may be led by a pair of dragons, honest-to-god dragons.
Did I mention I'm possessed by an ancient entity of unimaginable power?

Took a chance, and worth it
Okay, I was a bit leery of this series, but desperate for something to read.
I’m glad I did. Too hard to explain story and a summary makes it sound odd. But once you get into it, it’s definitely an entertaining story. Much of what carries it, as well as the wild story itself, is the great interactions between the characters. Only critique is the names. I kept getting them confused, try as I might. Doesn’t help that some of people have multiple monikers, or change their name.
For instance, I simply couldn’t remember any of the Spanglish names. They all sounded so similar.
