Luckily, a shadowy Eurotrash businessman wants them to pull off the heist of a lifetime, breaking into a bank that makes Fort Knox look like the corner candy store. Jack thinks this will be a nice little diversion for his crew . . . until a rosy-cheeked, lederhosen-wearing little psychopath named Evil Hansel stabs him with an oyster knife, and the whole situation goes completely to hell. The story was written for the narrator.

I feel dirty and question my morals a bit saying that this was a fun story but it was. There is murder, mayhem and a LOT of cursing but it is just fun. Consider it escapism. I smiled and laughed through the entire story...with a few cringes.

Great Fun!

It took me a little while to adjust to the character voices, and then had a ball. For me, the performance was what made the whole thing work. There is absurd silliness and some sounds and character interactions that can be a little grating, but, about when I'm feeling maxed out that, the narrator changes tone and some wonderful descriptions or development in character take place. Fun and satisfying.

What a Hoot!

I discovered Nick Harkaway aka Aiden Truhen earlier this year and he has quickly become my favorite author. He's a wonderfully entertaining writer and master story teller.

Seven Demons is fast, witty, funny, irreverent, audacious, engaging, totally over the top AND I loved every single minute of it.

Christian Coulson's had me laughing out loud throughout the entire 9 hours and 21 minutes. He should win some kind of award for his performance.

Spellbinding

Ambiguity. The sexual tension between the words and their reader are not entirely consensual but, that, in and of itself, is where the exchange in righteous synergy occurs and everyone involved gets to say “yeah, that was great. I’d do that again”.

Nick Harkaway meets Yahtzee Crowshaw with Fabulous Narrator

This book has such great narration, that the listener is swept into a fantastic performance around an absolutely bonkers story. Need More (Hashtag)!

Tied for best performance I've ever heard also fun

The title says it all. The book is very good, the story is hilarious, the dialogue sharp, and the performance is incredible. 9.5/10

Irreverent Blast w/ Best Narration!

Hang on for the ride. This is excellent, irreverent fun. Narration here is simply the best yet (and most fun) to me in over two decades of audio books. Highly recommended if you enjoy witty banter, an original story/characters, appreciate the person reading and don't take yourself too seriously...

This book was so very incredibly well written and performed it was perfection.
The narrator was at the top of his game.. a comedic voice actor… NEVER have I heard such a brilliant performance.. I set the speed to 1.4… listened in my car and HOWLED all the way down the highway…!!
