I bought this audible book and loved it so much that I bought the paperback book. It made me think and see things differently,

Just the book I needed!

Yes, it is a bit religious, but so is AA. When you are down, helpless and in need of help you'll take any help out there. Hence, you turn to God. If you don't believe in God, then don't read this book.

Religious, but excellent

I am not a Christian, but I found this book to be very good. I found the religious aspect to be from a perspective of support, rather than rule. It was easy for me to see and understand the points that were being illustrated, and the author's story, and the stories of others contained in the book are quite relatable. She did an excellent job of identifying parenting errors, fears, hopes, challenges in a way that truly opened my eyes, and had me often saying, "Yes. Exactly that. Thank you." Some of the cases used as examples are more extreme than others. But there was something relatable, and something to be learned from each chapter regardless of whether or not my situation was the same. There are similarities in all of you allow yourself to see them. Very good read for anyone with adult children that are failing to launch for whatever the reason.
