This is a F/F story. This book has romance and mystery. It is well written and has well developed characters. This book is very relatable. I enjoyed it.

Short fun story

A stolen treasure map, murder, private island. Throw in some fun characters. you have a great entertaining listen. all are out to find the stolen treasure map, and the adventure and mystery begins! It's a short story that would keep you interested. The narration by Kris Szczesny is a great listen. She brings excitement and fun to the story, giving each character their own voice. 🎧Audiobookobessionreview🎧

Great start to this series!

I really enjoyed this audiobook, once you start listening you will want to know what happens next!! I recommend as must read/listen. Great characters and story line. Thank you Audiobook Review Group!

Quick listen

Kris Szczesny did a good job of distinguishing between the several different characters in the story.

This is a novella so there isn’t a lot of detail. I enjoyed the story and had fun trying to figure out the mystery as it unfolded.

Story progressed quickly. The story was an interesting and enjoyable one. Parker is strong and smart. Looking forward to the next story.

Good short read

I really enjoyed the story but the dialogue felt very stilted. The conversations felt very formal and not natural for conversation. The story is short so things move quickly without much detail or explanation. I had to go back and re-listen on a few parts because it felt like I had missed a key detail. I thought the ending was fairly predictable. I was disappointed how the situation with Parker’s police friend played out. It made Parker seem oblivious and not very intelligent, which is not what I think the author intended. Aside from that I really like the story and am continuing this series. I think there is a lot of potential.

A great read!

When Parker gets a new case she also gets a new assistant her name is K she is the granddaughter of the man who’s map was stolen and who paid Parker to find it. After a crazy night on an island and a few comfortable moments together parker be also sell falling for K and luckily for Parker Kay feels the same way.

I downloaded this book a while back and I don’t know how but I forgot about it. When I found it today I started listening and was so pleased. It was so good I can’t wait to listen to the next one. This is a great representation of the genre and of investigators everywhere. I recommend this to anyone who likes private investigation stories and romance because they have both. It’s a fun lovable wonderful read!

Easy read

This was a good and easy read. Pretty predictable, but still entertaining. The narrator did a good job.

Good start til the series

Story line is pretty well developed. The book itself is a quick listen & if you listen more than once you'll pick up new things. Characters come together very well.
