Sensual Games

Dawn Brower did not disappoint me on this 3rd installment of the Novak Spring. This was as good as the other books in the series. Those Novak's sure hold grudges for things they think happened!! This book has surprises and twists and turns and excitement all through it. My favorite part was the retelling of the Vegas trip by Paxton. I really enjoyed the new characters added to this series to help bring Emma and Colt to the truth. The narration was nice and easy to listen to.

"Sensual Games" is the third book in the Novak Springs series by Dawn Brower. Though this is the third book and there are some references to past storylines, it can be read as a stand alone. Ms. Brower has done a wonderful job with the story and characters. She has delivered a wonderful romantic story that will leave you wanting more. I cannot wait to read the first two books in the series and other works by Ms. Brower.

A Cute Story

This is a second chance romance with a hint of a sports theme. I adored Colt but spent most of my time annoyed with Emma. I understand about holding grudges but, come on, when it's someone you love as much as Emma is supposed to love Colt...I just don't see how communication would break down so badly. Anyway, the rest of the story is done well and, even though this is book 3 in the series, you can listen to this one without hearing the other two. The narration was very well done. Jennifer Jill Araya amazes me again with the many different voices she can do. Also, everyone has their own emotions and personalities. This, for the most part, was an entertaining listen.

Second Chance Love

This is the first book I’ve listened to in the series. I loved it and h characters so much I kept wanting to stop so I could listen to them in order but in the end I was to drawn in to the Emma and Colt to stop. I really liked all the characters and can’t wait to go back and read their stories.

Almost lost him

Because of anger and mistrust she almost loses the one she loves. This is the third in the series and it's keeping me hooked. The whole series is about people holding grudges even if they don't really know the whole story. This can be frustrating at times but the author does a great job of weaving the story so you can't help but want to keep listening.

Oh wow!!

This is Ethel first book I’ve ever read or listened to by Dawn Brower and I must say that I was not disappointed at all.

We first meet Emma a beautiful young women, with a slightly troubled past. You see Emma was engaged to a man she was hopelessly in love with, but when another women steps in and claimed to be pregnant with Colts baby, Emma’s heart was ripped out of her chest. She tried to get over Colt in time, giving up her dream job just to avoid being around him. But when the opportunity arises again Emma jumps at the chance to do what she lives.

Can Emma withstand all of her feelings of love for Colt, can she leave the past where it belongs or will her heart get broken all over again.

I loved the book, and can’t wait to see what the rest or this series has in store. I hope to see more of Ian as well, he seems like such a nice young man, and well he did do that one thing that saved... oh just read the book and see what happens.

I have issues with this

The author truly is a wonderful write and I have enjoy so many of her books, but this one I have to think are we in middle school. Games are never good, nothing good comes out of them as we see here. It is a good plot, the characters are ok, they do act like little kids. Had it been a better narrator I most likely would have enjoyed it more. The best part was the end, I really liked it once the boys went to Vegas.

The narrator has a very nice voice it is very pleasant but she puts to much emotion into the characters at times when it just isn't needed. The character voices were a little to close at times I was confused who was saying what, and a few I didn't care for. There is no background noise, no volume changes. This is just my thought some may like it but I had a hard time getting through this audio.

Sensual story listen

First audio I have listen to for both the author and narrator they didn’t disappoint. This is a story with lots of layers, surprises and twits . You don’t need to listen to book 1 or 2 to enjoy this story . There are some scenes that reference some characters in the other stories you can still follow along .
Hero is Colt. Heroine is Emma
Colt is a football player that his carrier took a nasty turn
Emma and Colt were a couple at one couple at one point , but a misunderstanding tore them apart. Colt wants Emma back , but everything doesn’t turn the way Colt wants .

Do they find the way back to each other

The narrator voice was good. The voice was strong, clear and clear

I can't wait to see what happens next!

This was possibly my favorite of the Trilogy. I was mesmerized by the story. I look forward to the secondary characters story on the future! (fingers crossed)

Best so far!

I say best so far because they just keep getting better! I love this book. It was funny and heartwarming. It also has the best narrator of the series. I’ve always enjoyed Ms. Brower’s historical romance books, but based on this series I will be reading more of her contemporary as well!
