Those wicked wizards are at it again! This time they are draining power from the Enchanted Forest. And that does not sit well with Mendanbar the King. I stuck it out cuz I loved this story since childhood but overacting seems to be a requirement for this studio. The guy playing the magicians was so incredibly grating that I had to pause over and over again

I adore this story. It’s funny and for young readers, plenty exciting. My only gripe was the vocal stylings of the magician character, who succeeded in making the character insufferable

The lighthearted story and lively cast performance made this a hit with our daughters, from age six to nine. They have both listened to this audiobook series multiple times.

A childhood favorite! Cimerene pretty much shaped who I am today. And the performance of this narration was brilliant.

We discovered this series when my kids--now grown--were in preschool and still relisten about 1/year. Love the story and the full cast performance. Highly recommend all 4 books.
