The dark void where memory should be, screams with with deafening silence! I search, it hides; chase, it runs; beckon to it and it defiantly turns away. What—Where—Who am I? When will I find my life? Or...will my life find me?
A teen boy wakes, buried beneath burnt rubble. The time: 1867. Place: The Ozarks of Osage County, Missouri. Certain that the questions haunting him will be answered by the light, waiting somewhere above his musty tomb, he claws his way to freedom. But the light holds no answers, only tragic confusion...fear and a sense of loss. When marauding beasts threaten, he is forced away from the horrific scene of his awakening and thrust into a journey of rediscovery. Where it will lead him is beyond anything he could have imagined.
Taken in by two kind families, Kid, as they name him, accompanies them west with dreams of beginning a new life, but such dreams come with a heavy cost. Outlaws, deadly elements, and even a band of rogue Comanches who demand payment for passage through their land and are more than willing to kill in order to collect. Beyond the Spanish Peaks and jagged crags of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the mountains of southern Colorado, the two families build their homes. All seems well for a time, but the discovery of ancient treasure turns friend to foe, spawning jealousy, greed, and eventually a murderous plot that forces Kid to choose between life and love.
Live, laugh, and even cry with Kid as he seeks to discover his true self, navigating new friendships, narrowly escaping death, and experiencing budding love for the first time, amidst the wiles of a lawless and untamed land. Come and be immersed in this emotionally rich Search for Yesterday and discover why life can neither be lived, nor identity claimed by looking back…only forward.

Transformative storytelling

The imagination of Quinn is crazy, its like he lived Kids life way back the in the West. How he described the scenery and the animals with so much detail like he was painting a picture in front of you. It left me wanting more, and I can't wait for a sequel. Search for Yesterday would be an awesome movie.
