A fitting release...

For the month of May, considering that it's Mental Health Awareness Month and was prominently featured in this story.

Outstanding performances were given by narrators Wesleigh Siobhan, Nicole Small and Winston James.

And as usual Kennedy produced a very well-written, thoroughly researched masterpiece. She handled these characters with love and care!

Perfection

I love all the feels and excitement this book has given me over the past couple of days. Thank you Kennedy Ryan.

A total production

What I loved about Reel was that it was a total production (narration, singing & instruments being played) & Score was no different. Getting Dessie's story along with the main characters has been an unexpected treat. A perfectly placed history lesson at a time when it's so important to lean into that history. Verity & Monk really are everything, and Mrs. Ryan has once again delivered a masterpiece of a love story.

Better than the first.

Kennedy Ryan out did herself with this one. And what perfect book to release during mental health awareness month. I absolutely loved it!

Great follow up to Reel (although this could be a standalone read)

This highly anticipated book did not disappoint one bit. I love how Monk matured in his love for "V". He realized that what he needed/wanted is on the other side of his past pain/ego. Facing it allowed them to get back to what was meant for them and I loved that for them. And what seemed like "wasted time" wasnt a waste at all. it also highlights that sometimes if we seek clarification (beforehand), we can avoid some of the pain.
