Meh

- Virtual voice is a hard pass. Flat, lots or awkward pronunciations. Almost quit listening when it state a date as “two thousand seven hundred five” instead of “twenty seven oh five”.
- Stories strike me as amateur work, too. Possibly about as much human effort as as the narration.

AI narrator wasn’t up to the task

I listened to the entire book, even though it wasn’t worth it, to give it a fair chance, but the stories were amateurish and the narration was flat and full of obvious mistakes. An example: military personnel would never call 09:00 “zero nine zero zero, we say either zero nine hundred or oh nine hundred.

first story was very dark

I listened to the first story and it was very dark. I wish I had stopped listening in the first 10 minutes but listened to the whole story. I’ll have nightmares from it.

Unlistenable due to virtual voice

There is something about the virtual voice that makes this unlistenable. It is so weird. There is no inflection and sounds cold and sterile.
