I think book one and two are my absolute favorite! so in love with this series!

Great Story

Great story. A little slow in the middle at times (felt like they were never going to find that stupid orb!) but overall, a great story. I will definitely keep listening to this series. I also love the idea of the scala/the role of this person. Oh, and Prince Lincoln is just amazing, enough said there. :)

I love it.... the series as well as the author narrating her own book it really gives the story the intended life and energy it was meant to have!!!

Loved it

I honestly feel like this series just keeps getting better. There are little quirks in Bauer's writing that some people might not like, but I love the snark, I love the sarcasm, and most of all, I LOVE the world that she's created.

This totally just got better!

Seriously. After listening to the last book, this is a great followup. And not just the story. The narrative is so much fun! The author narrates how she wants the story told. The main character is snarky and sarcastic, and I love it. I said it before but I a!m honestly beginning to question why I don't read books like this more often. Really enjoyable and really looking forward to the next book!

It is what I expected it to be

It was difficult to take the story to a place that challenged the main character after she became so completely overpowered in the first book.
What needed to happen happened in a very unconvincing way.
The main character is supposed to be a badass fighter, but in this book she seemed to forget about that.

Enjoyable read.

I really love the characters that are within this series. This was a really entertaining book. I love that the writer narrates the stories. Loved this book just like the first.
