I’ve teared up multiple times already while doing dishes over my kitchen sink and listening to this audiobook…. And I’m only through chapter 3!
Blessed by these truths and the relevance of this book in my current stage of life. Can’t wait to soak in the rest!!

Just what my heart needed

Every chapter felt like a small pep talk my momma heart needed! It definitely has changed the way I see this season of my life. From the pile of dishes I have waiting for me, to the early morning feedings, It has changed ny perspective to not see things as a chore or another thing to get through but a reminder to enjoy the small things. God is in the everyday if we just take a breathe and look around us.

Life giving perspective

So full of the truth of God’s Word. It’s like Alyssa is just giving you the how in her life of walking out the truth of God’s word. We read the Bible and we get the idea but we might not always know how to pull it off or what it looks like in our life. This answers that. It is the daily abiding and satisfaction, contentment in Jesus. It’s just beautiful and real!

Like Sitting with a Girlfriend

I loved this book! I had no idea it was exactly what I needed to hear. I went and bought the book just because I wanted to go over it again, highlight and write like I do with my favorites. Now that I have it, it looks too pretty! I can’t wait to go over it again!

This book is just like being hugged by a friend, I totally love it. Just get it, it speaks directly to you. I love Allyssa.

Good book but….

Good book but I could hardly finish it due to the narrator. I think I would have rather read this on my own instead of listening on audible.

This book has been such a blessing to me, showing me how to be content in the midst of my circumstances, how to continuously seek Him and fix my eyes on Him through all those mundane moments, and how to find joy in the middle of trials! I wish I could quote the entire book! Such a beautiful book, where you can see Alyssa’s heart shine through it! The way that Alyssa pours out her heart, is sure to resonate with many who find themselves in similar trials or obstacles. This is sure to be a book that you will listen to time and time again!

Authentic conversation with a friend

Listening to this book is like having a cup of coffee in hand having a real conversation with a friend! I love Alyssa‘s sweet voice and message for us singles and mommas alike to turn to Jesus in our burdens, and our worries, and in our mess…to turn to only Him who truly satisfies!

This writing was absolutely authentic, joyful, a conversation with a closest friend. Your voice is a gift in and of itself, so even if the book wasn’t any good I would’ve enjoyed listening to you read. But it’s wonderful so WIN WIN WIN! 🤎🤎🤎

A book of peace

There is only one way I can describe this book: life giving! It really goes against the norm that tells you that you have to hustle to be deserving. Alyssa talks about the unconditional love that God gives us with excellent stories from her life that are sooooo relateable!! I feel like her words are still running through my head and they definitely took up home in my soul!!
