I love this book. I have everything written in the circle series's. I have it in hard copy, as well as ebook, now on audible as well. it is awesome.

Fantastic!

I'm already a big fan of this author and this storyline, so I decided to try the audibles. I love all the different voices for the characters! It really adds to the story and entertainment. The narrator is great. All around, this is an absolute fave and fun story ~

Magical

I love listening and reading Tamora Pierce’s books! And to get to listen to them being read by her… even better! Yet another masterpiece to add to your multitude of others! I just wish I would have written a review after the first time I listened, instead of being after the 4th or 5th… or is it 6th? Lol. Thank you so much for creating another marvelous world for people to go to and explore!

15 years later and it's still enjoyable

This aged pretty well. I remember reading it over 15 years ago and this was my I introduction (I actually read Tris's book first in this series because it was the only one in our Library that wasn't checked out and Magic Stones was my actual first) to this world. Getting used to the pacing of the narrator and the cutting on of people talking between narration took some getting used to because it is radically different from a single narrator. But the story was good, a bit slow inorder to develop characters but never boring and none of the character development was unimportant. I am looking forward to the rest of the books and the Circle Opens.
