This series keeps getting better

This book was even better than the first. It is a fast paced post-apocalyptic thriller. The suspense built in made me keep listening while my bedtime came and went. I am thoroughly enjoying this series and the characters. I can’t wait until the next book comes out!

Not bad

As apocalyptic zombie books go, this one rates under the best and far from the worst. Mostly involves military characters. Has no evil doers in it, just goes over the days in the survival of an Army team, a cop and a teenager. Not constant action.

great second chapter in the soldier story. looking forward to the next. totally enjoyed it.

The book is to short so its tuff to pack a bunch of story line in that window but i dig the entire series so its all good for me in any form .

These stories get better and better

I LOVE this series as it is more true to life than some super hero Zombie fighters.

The characters have been thoroughly developed and they seem as if they are real life.

I look forward to the next one!

Cool take on the Zombie thing

Been a fan of post apocalyptic stories. Recent fan of the Zombie thing. This series was a good listen with good characters.

Loved it

I purchased this book because Andrew B. Wehrlen is the narrator, as expected the performance was excellent. The story is a fun ride into the world of Zombies and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book!!

Amazing

Not surprisingly, this was another amazing edge of your seat book. W.J. did an awesome job, didn't want the ride to end. Can't wait for book 3.

Hard to put down

Once again Gyles and his Reapers are tasked with trying to keep the survivors of Camp Alamo fed, which means going out on dangerous missions to find as much supplies as possible. It is never enough as more survivors are found and it is now a day to day livining in the camps. To make matters worse, the radios don't work after a certain distance from the camp.(Possible spoilers)
On his latest supply run, Gyles discovers a faded card board directing survivors to a safe zone. Gyles decides he must find out if indeed there are survivors and if so then he must rescue them. But what if some of the don't want to be rescued because they believe the world will right itself soon.
Yeah, nothing is easy for Gyles and its not easy back at camp Alamo where Luke has learned some disturbing news...
Someone is jamming the air waves and the upper echelon refuse to admit it is happening. Camp Alamo is surrounded by Primals with more arriving every day and they have no way to call for help if anyone is even out there that can help. And the Primals are getting smarter.
With Gyles separted from half his team, he must somehow convince the people he discovered to move as they too are being slowly surrounded. But a bigger problem is finding a way to transport them.
At Camp Alamo, the situation is just as bad as Luke and the rest of the Reapers are given a mission to find the source of the Jamming even as they head out to find Gyles
Yeah, nothing comes easy to the Gyles and his Reapers and this time is no exception.
As usual Mr. Lundy has done an excellent job in keeping the listener riveted to the action on two fronts as the fight against the Primals continue with an even bigger front looming in their future.
