Shocking narrator

not a bad story but the narrator sounds about as interested as if she is reading a newspaper. Her voice just goes on and on in a monotone will have trouble finishing the book.

Disappointing Narrator

Good story. Narrator was very flat and emotionless. I was extremely disappointed in the narration.

Book would be better read than with this narrator

The narration was slow and emotionless. I feel that the narration took away from the story. classic love story....nothing new but not terrible either.

I am new to the reviewing game so please, bear with me. I love romance novels! The main thing I look for in a book is that it takes me into it. I read/listen somewhere between 200 to 300 books a year, possibly more. I know, crazy! Because I am such a big reader, I am constantly looking for new authors to love, some of my favorites are Nora Roberts/J D Robb, Bella Andre, Elizabeth Lowell. I am always looking for new authors to add to this list. Well, I have now added a new author to that list, Krista Lakes.
I just finished re-reading "Saltwater Kisses". Why you ask did I re-read it? Because it is a great book, one that I just did not want to put down. The characters are really thought out and scenes are all really well written. "Saltwater Kisses" will make you laugh, cry and cheer for Emma and Jack, and their life together, and to think they have a spiteful ex secretary to thank for that...... Oh wait, you have to read the book to find out what happens.

Most probably. I love the story and considering that I listened to it even though I already read the book most probably I would listen to it again :)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Saltwater Kisses?

I love the moment when they meat and then in the end of the book when she goes to the river and the flowering threes and he comes after her to apologize and tells her he loves her :)

What about Alicia Harris’s performance did you like?

She is really good in personalizing the different characters and very easily understandable. I definitely enjoyed listening the book :)

It definitely made me laugh. The book is easy to read and the story is just lovely :)
