The story continues

Great performance of a great book. Katherine’s Deryni series is unique and amazing in its themes of religion, politics and within this world the racial tensions and intolerance caused by generalizations and lack of understanding.

Good fun

While not as engaging as the first book, this book is still a good and interesting read. A slow middle prevents a five star rating but I would give it 4.5 if I could. Camber is put into an interesting dilemma and leaves the reader what doing to happen next.
