I don't know why....

But I enjoyed this story so much, I'm not ready for it to be over. It was good.

I Enjoyed It

I enjoyed this book. A little slow to start, but it definitely picked up. I liked both Trace and Gretchen. Great chemistry between them. Gretchen has been publicly betrayed and hurt in the past by her ex, and Trace- who's also been through a messy divorce- needs to work a bit to win her. He steps up when she really needs him and shows her he's worth the leap. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship.

I listened to this audiobook narrated by J.D. Hart- a new-to-me narrator. He did a good job narrating the different characters. His voice suits Trace perfectly.

A New Start . . .

Gretchen is a divorced mom with 3 daughters. Her ex-husband was an NBA star who had openly cheated on her and she is just about to give up on love. He, of course, continues to cause her problems. Navy SEAL Trace Bennett had rescued one of her daughters from kidnappers. This is the last time Gretchen is willing to open up her heart and try a relationship. When her ex interferes with her Hawaii trip, Trace stays by her side through all the difficulties, offering his support. Can they commit to each other, despite roadblocks put in their path? Are they ready to claim their HEA despite her ex’s interference? You will find that the audiobook version can definitely enhance your “reading” experience through the skillful narrator, JD Hart. He does a great job with the voices to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood, familiarize the characters, and offers a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book.

Trace and Gretchen!!!

In SEAL My Love we get the story of Trace and Gretchen with both having scars from their first marriages. They meet on a Hawaiian island vacation that Trace's new SEAL team has put together for them and their families. This is Gretchen's first holiday without her girls.
Sparks fly fast and furious from the first encounter between Trace and Gretchen but are the sparks enough for them to risk their hearts again on love. One of Gretchen’s daughter’s is kidnapped and Trace’s SEAL team goes in to rescue her. Trace is injured in the encounter and after being released from the hospital, Gretchen offers him a place to recuperate, her home. Here, Trace gets a taste of living with not only Gretchen but her three daughters.
I enjoy not only reading but listening to Sharon Hamilton’s SEAL stories! She does an incredible job with her storylines and I love that she focuses on military books! Military will always have my heart. Keep up the wonderful stories Sharon Hamilton!!!

great book

Trace and Grechin story is so good, the ex Tony and new girlfriend rare so bad. # daughters who have minds of their own but love their mom and have falling for Trace. Great read. The narrator was so good to listen too.

second chances

Love this second chance love story. As usual the author gives the hero and heroine a bumpy journey to HEA filled with suspense, drama and of course some hawt moments too.
Loved that other characters revisit and we find out what is going on with them too.
JD Hart did an excellent job again, love listening to him bringing the characters to life.

Trace and Gretchen

Trace is reassigned to Kyle’s Seal team. The Seal team is planning a vacation to Hawaii and invited Trace along. There will be spouses and some single women on the trip, which is where he meets Gretchen. Gretchen is a single mother whose children come first. Both had been married before, which obviously did not work out, and are hesitant to jump into a relationship. They are attracted to each other, with a slow low simmer, things build. Crazy ex-husband, kidnapping, precocious 4 year old, and a lot of other life obstacles are thrown in their path. In the end, they have their HEA. This was another great novel. The story is well written and interesting. The characters are relatable, with their own quirks and personalities. The narration was well done. an emotional rollercoaster to healing an love

Trace is older than most of the men on Seal team 3 .But he wasn't happy on his old team after coming home from a mission an finding his wife in bed with another Seal from another team they were in the bed she bought on his card while he was on a mission.Now divorced he's a bit out of sorts until his commander transfers him to Seal Team 3 .If he screws up there his career is over.After a quick mission the whole team including wives and kids are going to Hawaii..Gretchen is a divorced mother with three daughters .they are staying with her ex and his girlfriend.When Trace sets eyes an Gretchen its like no other woman exsists.When his co tries to set him up with his sister a author of erotic romance stories he's not really interested.She says things that even make the hardened Seal blush. There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.I love the voices of the readers of this emotionally charged story.I loved the story.The characters are captivating .And you will be begging for the next book by this amazingly talented author.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Another Great Addition to the Series

This was another great addition to SEAL Brotherhood. The characters were entertaining while the story line kept my attention. The narrator did a great job of breathing life into this story and making it a fun listen.
