An original fairytale and an amazing performance!
From the old world of castles and creatures come flourishes of new magic in Rydan’s Curse. Makayla Love wonderfully manages to touch on the modern themes of gender, identity, and power dynamics, all from within the traditional quest structure of the fairy story. In the end, it is a memorable tale, told in this fantastic recording by Kolbe Handal, whose voices for each character are compellingly rendered and unique, making for a sweet and worthwhile listen.
