If you can get passed the soulless narration this book is absolutely wonderful. The story of Luca and Lexis should go down in history.

Way too long , way too unrealistic

A good editor or an honest friend would have suggested they scrap 3 hours of unnecessary filler. She really ran away because she feared a literal nobody, not trusting her man could protect her when he was the don????

I hate the name Milo now!

Wow!! I want more of this series. The characters are vivid, well written and interesting. The storyline was deep and intense. I had to put it down a couple times to regroup. I’m looking for to the next book. Definitely need to read this one before the Assassins and Mob Wives book. Helps to know the players. Whilst I still don’t like virtual voice, this one did the book justice.

Great story! So many twist and turns. I would love a part 3. Rise on the Don's children.

Story didn’t get better

I was hoping after reading the last book that the new book would provided some more depth or almost be redemption of the last book. But that didn’t happen. I think that this book was entirely focused too much on torture and not enough one good storytelling.
