Honest Inspiration

Excellent book

I wasn’t feeling it at first, but, a few chapters in and I was hooked!

Good ending....

A lot of struggles, but a good ending. I like how the author thinks and is very real about the subject.

Inspiring

I could not have enjoyed this book anymore. Susan’s words inspired me so much. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I couldn’t be more excited about running. I am now training for a half marathon, something I have been putting off for years saying I didn’t have the time to train.

Susan Lacke writes another book that makes you feel anyone can just go out and do it. And just for that it’s worth the read. Now to go for a run!

Real, funny, and encouraging

For all of us who never think we are “real” runners Susan is a humorous and real encouragement!

She also is a fabulous writer who makes you feel like you are running along side of her.

narrator was amazing, got into character for each story, enjoy every part of this book.

Light & relateable

Enjoyed this book immensely. The author was funny and gave some great advice. I never knew there was so many “off beat” races. It was fun to hear of the author’s experiences with them. Definitely worth reading.

so relatable as a runner. Susan laid out all the self doubt and internal comparisons that I do. great book. So funny and heart warming.
