This book continues the adventures that Nika has in the new world that she has come to know. Eric and Nika continue their journey as well but will the love that they share be strong enough? Secrets and danger come for these two as they try to find their way. The authors have created an interesting take on Old Gods and ancient mythology. The story moves along at a good pace. There is a lot more telling than feeling for me and I did not fully get lost in Nika and Erik’s tale. Narrator John Austin does a good job of keeping the narration flowing.
