Keeps your attention

Great story. Loved the family history, I don’t like the familial intimacy. The main character Ruby is infuriating with how trusting and stupid she is at times. She’d really get on my nerves with choices she’d make and giving in to all the peer pressures.

Fun listen!

Great story if you are into VC Andrews. Easy to listen to and colorful characters to keep your interest.

Narrator was terrible. Loved book!!

This book was right up my alley. Cajun blood, evil twin sisters, voo doo magic. I'll be getting every title in the series. The author is a very fun story teller. The narrator can not voice act and she shouldn't have tried. She made everyone except ruby sound elderly instead of like a refined creole. She emphasized the wrong part of the sentence ALOT. IT BUGGED ME. Story was good enough to make up for it.

This is the third series of books I have listened to and I have not been disappointed.

A good family book.

this book is about a set of twins that are separated at birth. they are raised very different. the one twin even live near their half brother. she loses her grand mere and then sets off to find her father.

just tickled cuz I was totally into the Flowers In the Attic series & reading this I'm like of course there's a little sibling love in this thing😅

A great story that captures you right away. And the PERFECT narrator that plays all of the parts perfectly. A rare combination!

This series is amazing! I recommend to anyone who likes a good story. I have read the books several times, watched the movies in Lifetime, and was so excited to see them on Audible! They will not disappoint if you are looking for a good story. The narrator is awesome!!

I haven't read this book since I was a teenager, and it was everything I remembered. reading is always been an escape for me and the narrator for this book is fantastic! she's able to capture the heart of the characters with her voice, and inflections in vocabulary.
