gruesome but this was a fascinating read.

love this author's writing with humorous lines here and there. awesome plot and really well played out.

Good mystery

A quick listen. The story was good, interesting characters, decent narration, but nothing really special.

Well written change of pace

Enjoyed "Shut Eye" so decided to give this book a try. Glad I did. Andrew Wincott may be the reason. He brought the story to life!

Satisfying

A fun if sometimes gruesome whodunit. Good character development. Looking forward to the next one.

Different

I really enjoyed this book. It was so different than the formulaic mystery/thrillers out there these days. The characters are interesting, frustrating, likable, even lovable at times. And the narrator did an excellent job with the nuances of Patrick's condition. It was an excellent listen.
