I'm a huge fan of the River Monsters show and I was over the moon at being able to hear Jeremy Wade talk about his fishing experiences. The audio book did not disappoint.

What was one of the most memorable moments of River Monsters?

Listing to him regale us with stories of his fishing trips.

What about Jeremy Wade’s performance did you like?

I love his English accent and the gentle way he talks about his experiences, like a friend welcoming you in for tea.

Great book written and narrated by an educated man that speaks to us not at us with interesting and educational material.

If you like the show you will like the extra detail from Jeremy’s stories. Actually stopped a few times to watch what he was talking about.

I enjoyed learning about Jeremy Wade's background and what has generated his interest in fish.

Honest and intriguing

I love Jeremy Wade; he's so humble and knowledgeable about fish and fisheries. When reading this, I felt like he and I were at a bar or Cafe having drinks and discussing his biggest catches. If you're a fan (or hater) of River Monsters I recommend this book. Wade really puts a lot of things into perspective about the show, his actions, and the true situation of fisheries around the world. I sincerely hope Wade puts out another book or show as his insights and efforts are truly eye-opening.

This is a great book, I was a fan of the show and having the presenter narrate this book is plus. anyone that has seen River Monsters should try this book.

Jeremy Wade is not only an amazing angler, but he also possesses a compelling screen presence that makes the show addictive. Similarly Jeremy is a fantastic narrator! I listened to the book twice in a row.
I've always been curious about his life and how became such talented angler. The book gives us glimpses into his early life. He also gives fabulous insight into his near obsession and years of dedication to find certain fish.
