Loved this hockey romance!

Rivals is an enemies to lovers, sports romance. This book took me for a wild ride. Another job well done by Ashton Brooks.

Reign and Riley’s story was a really great, entertaining rivalry between best friends turned enemies. Reign was the epitome of a jealous/possessive hero, but Riley hit back just as hard. The tension was explosive, and their connection was spicy. You get all the emotions in this high school novel. I loved the epilogues as well!

C.J. Grey and Macie Miller did a wonderful job narrating. C.J. portrayed Reign’s possessiveness so well and Macie was the perfect Riley.

Obsessive & Protective

Reign and Riley were childhood best friends until a tragic accident drove them apart. From that point on, Reign made it his mission to get under Riley’s skin, turning every opportunity into a chance for revenge. Their story is filled with wild pranks, intense challenges, and an unforgettable moment deep in the woods that changes everything.

The chemistry between Reign and Riley is electric, defined by a push and pull tension that never lets up. Reign is fiercely possessive and protective, determined to make it clear that Riley belongs to him. Their relationship is messy, passionate, and utterly addictive.

Narrators C.J. Grey and Macie Miller bring the characters to life flawlessly. Grey captures Reign’s gritty, possessive edge, while Miller nails Riley’s sweet, slightly naïve charm. Their performances make the story’s emotional highs and lows even more compelling.

If you're into bully romances with fiery enemies to lovers energy, this one is definitely worth a listen!
