Rite of Passage

Robert has no idea what is really behind this family trip. He is asked to spend time with Courtney and the two have been drawn to one another since first meeting. As their time together passes he is drawn more and more to her despite the rumors that she is a witch that killed her mother. The story is nice, but can be very confusing at times while the author leads you around the edges of the story with out breaking the secrets. The narration was nice.

Mystery, deception and a witch

I am thoroughly impressed by the author's descriptive narration. It felt like I could almost lay back and envision the story played out as a movie with the help of amazing narrator Dani George. The twist and turns of the storyline made it impossible for me to put my tablet down. This book has a phenomenal storyline and strong believable characters.
The story takes place in the post WWII era where evil was abound with threats of atomic energy. Robert has the whole world ahead of him on a platter when he becomes enthralled with Courtney an exquisite woman with a tragic and mysterious past. What Robert doesn't know is that Courtney has a secret agenda and wants to use him as a pawn to save the world.
Courtney has been reincarnated and has honed her craft for more than 11 centuries. She knows more about Robert than he knows about himself. Robert who is a logical person starts to suspect that everything he has heard and read about her is true when he starts having strange dreams an noticing her off behavior. Things are set into motion until Courtney falls in love with Robert and has to make an important decision.

Paranormal Romance with some mystery

This is a new author for me and I’m so glad I gave him a chance. The story is mysterious and very engaging. I felt like I was part of the story and found it difficult to put it down.

Narration was excellent and brought the story to life.

The main characters are interesting and captivating. The story is set after WWll. There are some unexpected twists and turns that will keep you guessing what will happen next.

This book is very well written and a delight to listen to.
