Resumen del Editor

The Social Capitalist is an audiobook about how two ordinary people turn a huge social problem into a solution - not only for themselves, but for thousands of others. From nightclub owner (Josh) and law enforcement officer (Lisa) to social entrepreneurs and founders of Journey Healing Centers (accredited private drug and also treatment centers), they turned their lives around and, using the core principles of the Rich Dad philosophy, are building businesses that bring families back together.

As business missions reflect a higher purpose, the Lannons share "why we do what we do." And like movements across the world (and in our own backyards), they address the growing need for purpose in our lives and the opportunities that can be found in addressing the needs and challenges we see in our global society. Their story will strike a chord with millions as Social Entrepreneurship emerges as the next "mega trend" of a social movement.

Profit & helping others are NOT mutually exclusive

Great book for those who struggle with thinking that in order to help others you cannot turn a profit. You can't help others if you're broke!!!

HORRIBLE BOOK!!!!!

Not only is this book beyond boring, you will also not learn anything. The most agregious thing the authors do is praise evil people and entities, i.e. Margsret Sanger, Planned Parenthood Bill Gates, and The World Economic Forum. These authors claim to be Christian, but praise Margaret Sanger. Margaret sought to eliminate blacks and Chinese through abortion. Margaret's own words in an article titled, "A Better Race Through Birth Control," she wrote, "Given birth control, the unfit will voluntarily eliminate their kind." Planned Parenthood not only kills unborn children, but sells the fetal parts for profit, but hey, I guess that is a form of capitalism!

Then, the authors promote The World Economic Forum. These authors are either evil or ignorant. either which way, they should not be Rich Dad Advisors nor even be associated with Robert Kiyosaki.

in addition, the book covers more about other businesses rather than the author's. I'm not impressed with their business either. Josh became sober by his own might, not through a program, so how can he sell us on his program? They say 95% of patients complete their program. So what! That doesn't mean they remain sober. Plus, some people are simply there due to a court order, so that would be a primary incentive to complete a program.

This book was awful. I just wish I would have read it right when I ordered it so I could have returned it. Now. it's too late.
