ENJOYABLE NEW SERIES

I ENJOYED THIS BOOK. IT HAS PROMISING CHARACTERS FOR A SERIES, AND FREDERICKSBURG IS A GREAT SETTING. I HOPE THE NEXT BOOK WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON.

Naive characters

Good reading of the book, just unbelievable characters and reactions to situations. People just aren’t all that stupid. None of the main characters were very likable and Tally really was a teen drama queen for being an adult. Could not run a business or a life.

Ok

This was not my favorite book. The narrator was not consistent, and neither was the story. I could not get on board with the lead character. Her leaps of logic made no sense, and I don’t think that anybody would really think in that ridiculous way. Also, if I am in a car and someone is chasing me I’m driving to get help not out of town to hide. Also, if I’ve got my cell phone, I’m calling the police Was completely illogical

Love

Love the author, I wish more of her books were on Audible. I adore Janet Cantrell. One of the greatest authors for me.

Slow start

The story is very good but gets off to a slow start. Give it time. It’s worth it in the end!

I believable.

I listened to the whole painful book. It had the thinnest plot and the least dimensional characters I have heard since writing class in high school. The characters were too young to have done all that was told and too old to wail over a romance of two dates! The brother was the thinnest character and all we learned is that he broke the hearts of two women in one week. The motive was ridiculous. Sorry. I’m glad this was free.

disappointing

Struggled to finish. Weak story. I found the narrator annoying in the way she pronounced every word ending in "ing", as "in". I can see that making sense if it's spoken as dialogue, but not as the narrator.
