He and a reporter are pulled into that world and find it is almost impossible to get back.
The two stories would be better enjoyed by first enjoying Portal to the Forgotten.

Would you be willing to try another one of Catherine Lewis’s performances?
Absolutely not
Any additional comments?
Besides the horrible attempt at voices she needs to learn proper pronunciation.
The choice to change narrators between 1st & 2nd book was a huge mistake!

Wonderful read!
A perfect sequel to a exciting adventure! Return from the Portal was filled with overcoming obstacles, critical thinking and the loyalty of friendship to survive. I can’t wait to the third book!

Could not make it past chapter 2
I wanted to like this. I really did. But the narrators thick southern drawl and the overly staccato writing make it impossible. I had to call it after only two chapters. Disappointing.
