I wanted more

I have always wanted to travel but have never been out of the country, but I feel as I have been now! The author left me hanging on every word, I needed to hear what she had to say, I am at a point in my life of stagnation! I need to restore myself, I need to begin again, set myself apart from the world and repair my relationship with God.
My mothers health is declining and my heart hurt for Angela, but knowing my heart will feel pain also when my mothers time on earth is over, made me want to see my mother more, realizing how precious time can be!

Did not want to put it down.

Loved this book. Such a wonderful story. Made me feel as if I was right there in Tuscany with the characters. The narrator was perfect. Please make it into a movie!

Pruning

I think the part about pruning was a huge eye opener by author that I connected well with. Beautiful story.

Uplifting Read

Loved how the author read aloud her own book. I also enjoyed her embellishing descriptions of the people and places she experienced.

I found the author’s voice not energized enough. I kept dozing off and having to restart the audio.

Italy read poorly

I enjoyed the parts set in Italy. The reader lacked emotion in her rendition of the story.

Perspective and perseverance

Enjoyed and appreciated the segments on pruning and pursuing the best. Also, appreciated slowing down and healing during the eventualities of life. God is good!
