🔹Overall fun and thrilling with a lot of AMOR! I gladly give this book 4.9 Stars baby!

🔹Pros- great description of characters and connection with characters. Kudos to Stella for narrating all characters -wow! Thrilling storyline with lots of twists n turns! Fantastic steamy sex scenes n hot romance - WOWZA!
I really loved both Rayne and Ghosts characters. ♥️They are one of my top FAVE Delta "couples"!


🔹Cons- Nothing horrible just my observation...
Ghost went from being a gentleman to a jerk. Why Susan morphed his character into an immature teen I do not know! The ending could have been better. Didn't see Ghosts character change for the better - just "stuck in his ways". I was disappointed for Rayne because she deserved much better than he was willing to offer. This could have been avoided if Susan wouldn't have written Ghost to be such a cad at the hospital scene!

🔹My take on this book-

I feel this book needed to be more detailed in the end in order to confirm Ghost had changed back to being a gentleman. Perhaps a few more chapters would have reshaped Ghost and brought em back to Gentleman mode! I did fall in love with Rayne and Ghosts "story" - but this book ended to quickly and I personally did not forgive Ghost for treating Rayne so poorly at the hospital. That whole "scene" seems to be out of character for Ghost! He was such a great guy. (sob)

🔸Narrator note - I feel Stella is a very talented & amazing narrator. She can change her voice to a multitude of characters - both male and female! WOW and KUDOS! My next comment is not intended to be bad - its just an observation. In this particular book Stella's voice sounded "older" to me. (like that of a woman in her late 50s early 60s) Stella actually sounded like my older sister in this book - lol. I did not feel that Rayne was 28 years old- she sounded to be in her late 50s early 60s. Perhaps it would have been a unique story twist and bold move to make her character in her 50s and have Ghost be attracted to a "cougar". Seriously - why not! Men have been doing this for ages! Most books and movies feature OLDER men hooking up with much younger woman. Just sayin! Girl power!

Love Ghost and Rayne’s story. I read this book when it first came out. It was fun listening to it.

Great start to a series

Because of this series Susan Stoker became a must-read/listen author for me. Good story lines, sexy leads and tons of action. What more could you ask for? : )

Strong alpha male. Smart strong woman.

Lots of explicit sex but there was a good story. The story was well developed and sounded plausible.

For my own tastes I could have had less explicit sex but at least the scenes made sense where they were placed.

Another good series

Good story and narrator was great.
Only wish authors would use popular phrases correctly. Such as: if someone THINKS something will happen, then they may have another THINK coming, NOT another THING coming.

Susan Stoker always delivers

This story of Rayne and Ghost is top notch intense, action-packed sexiness. Make sure you have no plans when you start this story because you won't want to put it down. Stella Bloom as the narrator insures you will be spellbound.

I was thoroughly entertained. So romantic and sexy. I laughed and cheered. It was well read by Stella Bloom. Wow, what a great story.
