Love all of these books

The characters and story were just as lovely as the previous books. Already got the next one. The voice actors were amazing per usual.

Taking Time

This audiobook shows that instant attraction doesn't mean instant relationship. Koriv'n knows what he wants but respects Nikki's need for time, while she stays open to possibilities despite past experiences. Their story develops at a natural pace as they get to know each other through "dating" - something new for a Xarc'n hunter but exactly what Nikki needs. Troy Duran and Kiera Stevens deliver another good performance. An enjoyable edition to the series.

Rescued by the warrior

The fight against the alien bugs continues. A group of Xarc’N warriors decided to ignore their assignment and go to Earth instead. They learned that on Earth compatible females live. One of these warriors is Koriv’n, quite a romantic guy. When he and a group of humans and warriors are on their way to rescue two females that are kidnapped, Koriv’n smells his mate. He let himself capture to find and extract her from the hostile military group. He finds Nikki, and although she is happy to leave with Koriv’n, she is not at all ready to jump straight into a relationship…

We learn more about the progress of the fight against the alien bugs, and I want to know how the overall story continues. These books are very well written and quite addictive and fun. Adventure, suspense, romance, humor and more!
Both narrators did a great job performing the characters, adding more to the story. It is such a pleasure listening to them.

The heroine: Nikki - her husband Jason had changed and gotten worse and worse since the alien bugs attacked. He pimped her out for things that improved his life. Nikki now hated Jason and has been beaten down living that life. She decided to run for it with a friend of hers and ended up caught. The leader had demanded they make an example out of her so she was now running from Jason when she comes across a Xarc’n hunter that was captured by the group.

The Hero: Koriv’n - he knew Nikki was his since he first scented her and he purposely got caught by the group in order to find and save his female. When Nikki ran into the room where Koriv’n was, he easily escaped with her.

The Story: Nikki had been a zombie movie enthusiast so was a bit prepared for the apocalypse, but she never thought she would end up living in one. She was hoping that the group Koriv’n took her to were cleaner and kinder than the group she had ended up with. She knew Koriv’n smelled clean and fresh and had offered herself to him for safety, she knew she had blundered when he turned her down. He didn’t want her if it was only in exchange for something else. He wanted her to want him for himself.

Like the rest of the series, this book was told in dual points of view via dual narration. Troy Duran and Keira Stevens do the narration and along with the good storylines, and world building are a big part of why I bought every audiobook in this series. I love Troy’s super deep and sexy voice and Keira has a great voice as well.

Koriv’n was a nice and protective Hero. Like the rest of the Xarc’n hunters he was possessive and strong and I really liked all of these warriors. The alien insect story is great and this one had a good side storyline about Nikki’s husband and the band of bad guys they are with.

Following a delicious scent may lead to love.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even with the scourge (huge bugs) making everyone’s lives difficult. Korvi’n and Nikki met after he made certain that he was captured by the people that had his mate. Korvi’n was protective and possessive, and yet he was also caring and sweet. Nikki needed a break big time. She had tried to escape but was caught. While attempting another escape she found Korvi’n before he could start looking for her. There was some drama and angst but it resolved well. I liked their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Listening to the audiobook is quite entertaining and enjoyable as well. The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the story to life. Their characters were extremely well thought out and were amusing. I recommend listening to the audiobook as well.

Still loving these

I appreciate that each story is different and that it’s not formulaic. Every couple has a totally different way of coming together.
