Resumen del Editor

Millicent

Milly's life was safe. Her plans, certain. She doesn't take risks, because she knows what it's like to lose everything. But, when it all falls apart, she decides to throw caution to the wind. Her journey to reclaim her future leads her straight into the grown-up arms of the boy she left behind. In them, she finds passion long denied and love she thought was lost. But is the promise of a second chance worth the risk of losing herself again?

Dean

When he discovers that the girl he has loved his whole life moved on without him, Dean needs answers. He didn't expect to still want her. He didn't expect her to want him, too. And suddenly, he finds himself in a battle for the heart of the woman he's never stopped loving.

As they look to the past for answers, can they hold onto the future they were meant to have? Or will what they remember make them wish they could forget?

Where’s female reader?

Where’s the female reader? This story was told mostly from the heroine. I would’ve given this story a five stars for this story if this had dual narrators. I had a hard time enjoying the story when the male voices reading females voice. If you don’t mind listening to males voice reading female part, then this one is for you!

So much feels, flawless narration

I’ll be the first to say that I am picky when it comes to narrations of some of my favorite books. Remember was a book that I fell in love with last year. I was a bit scared to see that there was only one narrator. However, my fears were totally unwarranted. Anthony Linden was fantastic in his narration, not only of Dean, but of Milly too. I’ve never listened to a book with a male narrator doing both women and male voices but Linden is talented. He executed both sexes flawlessly. I actually went to see if he has narrated other books but don’t see any as of yet… I’m sure Remember will be his first of many.

Remember is book two in the Symbols of Love series. These books are all standalones that are interconnected. Rise is about Addie, Remember is about Milly, and the next book will be Lilly’s book. I, personally, have a few secondary characters that I am hoping get spin off book. So, can you read this book, Remember before Rise? Yes, you can. I’d recommend reading Rise first as it is friggin’ awesome! But, these are books that can stand by themselves, but, they do have a bit of an overall connection.

I could not LOVE the two main characters more than I do. One might look at Milly and think she’s easy to walk all over, a pushover, and she might have started out that way. But this book is more than a love story. This book is a book about finding yourself when everything you have known is falling to pieces around you. Do you fall or do you rise? This book will answer so many questions you had in Rise.

First, I have to say that Dean might just be the most perfect male book character ever! He is so genuine and so darn swoonable! He’s the perfect man for Milly! After years apart, they were able to find each other again. I loved that this book was two mature grown up adults confronting life head on. You will read things that could have happened to your best friend or even yourself. You will relate to these people, almost every married woman or mom will relate to Milly. We put ourselves on the back burner so much of the time. Anyway, I went off track... Milly and Dean attack life together, just like people should do.

This book was perfection! Dylan Allen’s writing is flawless. Her story is full of heart and hope. I was sucked into Milly’s life from page one. Once I got 75% into Remember I was rushing through. There was more suspense than I was expecting and I could not read it quickly enough. Remember is a book that’s going to stick with me. We all should be so lucky to Remember our dreams and to Rise up to them.

Loved this story !!

After reading Rise By Dylan Allen I have been counting down the days until Remember came out . I would check up on Dylan Allen pages weekly just to see if I could get updates on when I could get my hands on this book. When I was able to get an audiobook of this story I was thrilled and I Literally devoured it the minute it arrived on my audible app and It was fantastic!

In this book we follow Milly and Dean and these two used to date when they where in high school and where very serious , however what happened with both of there fathers caused them to be ripped apart. Now Milly is going through a divorce and trying to deal with all of the changes that will affect her and her son because of it . However as Milly is trying to her Event Planner business up and going, one of her biggest clients happen to be Dean and lets just say while there first meeting was not filled with all the 'Reunited & It Feels so good feels " you could just tell the minute there eyes connected every feeling they had towards each other was reignited . I loved Milly and Dean's story , it was sexy and filled with swoons but that wasn't just it , I was just amazed at how supportive that are of each other , these two go through so much in this book and through it all they had each other backs and I just loved that . I feel like now anytime I think of the word soulmates I am going to think of Milly and Dean these two where just perfect for each other. Besides the romance I loved seeing the personal journey both Milly went through ,her character growth was just amazing and in a lot of ways Milly becomes more alive , more vibrant as you turn ever page and I just loved that.We also got to dig deeper into what was going on with Milly's dad and what lead Dean's father to do what he did as well and let me tell you all this , there were many time where I would think to my self I know how this is going to play out ..I was wrong lol .. I was so wrong ... this story definitely went in direction that I didn't expect , there were moments when my jaw literally dropped this book. Remember was just amazing.

Remember is a sexy , addicting , fun , heartwarming story . I loved this audiobook and I NEED the next one!!. Dylan Allen if you are reading this and you would like to give me a copy of the next audiobook that would be amazing lol . I can without a doubt that this is one of my favorite stories of 2017 .If you love all these things in your audiobooks you should definitely get copy as soon as you can .

This is Us. Always.

I am utterly and fantastically blown away by this book. Seriously, what is this sorcery?!?

I listened to the majority of the book, which was narrated amazingly by Anthony Linden, but did enjoy the ebook too when I just didn't have the chance to listen. I don't think I have ever listened to a dual POV book with only a male narrator. I've listened to several with only a female narrator, but this was definitely a first and I have to say I am impressed. Anthony Linden brought so much emotion and heart to the scenes and I was captivated by his performance. I honestly, inhaled this book. I haven't been consumed by a story and its characters like this in a while and I just couldn't bring myself to stop. From the very first page, I was sucked in and needed to know more. I even messaged a friend to gush and share my feelings because I just couldn't contain them.

Milly was an incredibly relatable heroine. Haven't we all lost ourselves or our way at some point in our lives? I loved her evolution through the story and how with each chapter, she regained a piece of herself. She didn't let her terrible ex Kevin define or destroy her. Milly is intelligent, loving, giving, and so fiercely loyal. I absolutely loved her and Dean. Her history with him broke my heart and it was game over for me the minute he came onto the scene.

I am an absolute sucker for second chance romances that feature childhood sweethearts and Dean was all kinds of swoony perfection! I could not get enough of him and part of what endeared him to me was that, just like Milly, he is not perfect. These two lost souls have been existing, but not truly living until they crash back into each others lives. I loved that from the start, he was 100% devoted to Milly and unwilling to let his second chance slip away. Add in his deliciously dirty mouth and I was a goner.

"Milly, this body, this soul, this love, it's mine. The only other children that will grow inside you are the ones that I put there. This. Is. Forever."

I also loved (and hated) the secondary characters just as much as Milly and Dean. Mrs. Orleans and Nicola had me feeling like I needed to slap someone, while Anthony, Mary, Addie, and Lilly had me wanting to grab everyone into a big hug. The story really came full circle at the end and I appreciated the kind of role reversal between Milly and Dean as far as guilt and blame was concerned regarding their parents. I could not have enjoyed this story more and though this is my first Dylan Allen book, it certainly won't be my last!

Awesome Narration!

I almost didn’t pick this one up because of a negative review about the narrator. Anthony Linden did a fantastic job actually acting out the parts. It brought the story to live in a dynamic way for me. Well done.

Not a fan of the narrator

The narration was really off putting. It was OTT and super drama, and was annoyed at the constant yelling tone when it wasn't really necessary.

The story was compelling enough.

Just Okay

I found this story to be just okay. It wasn't anything special. I found the characters lacking and
not interesting at all. I thought the story was kind of weird and just couldn't get in to it. I really should have returned it but I didn't. I guess it just wasn't for me.

DNF

Remember: A Symbols of Love novel by Dylan Allen
Narrated by Anthony Linden

I’m trying to understand why an author would choose a male narrator for a female point of view. Anthony’s voice throws the entire mood of the story off balance? His tone is not what I picture when listening to a female character. Eventually, there are two points of vie. When the story began with only Millie’s perspective I already had a negative feeling about this narration.

There were several errors by the narrator that bothered me. Anthony’s narration was not a good fit for Millie’s character. His animated voice at times was over-the-top.

This is a second chance romance between Millie and Dean. After thirteen years they are reunited. A backstory was woven into each chapter bringing clarity about a relationship that was in the past. Apparently, a missed opportunity for a future sent both characters in different directions. It’s those reasons that had me questioning the plot structure of the story. One other questionable reason about Millie’s mother and her actions regarding her husband sent up red flags.
I called it quits at the point Millie reconnected with Dean. Millie’s husband left her then they had a custody battle with Millie feeling desperate. A few chapters later all talk about the ex is fine with and it’s all about Dean. Time to move on so easily jumping to the next guy. The fact that very little was mentioned about this so called love from the past had me questioning the reason for Millie marrying someone else to begin with.
