Great story - I love the world created for the misfits. Raven Kennedy is a master at creating a visual world from her books. the details are amazing! Book 2 is just as hilarious as Book 1. Cant wait to move on to Book 3 and meet more characters of the misfits world! Cheese n Gouda and Ducking wonderful!

Luca Monotone.

I really really really liked this story. Reece is so cute, funny and endearing. Holly Fielding’s portrayal of her is spot on. She is very expressive with a great sense of comedic timing. However, I found myself getting drowsy or accidentally tuning out during the “Luca” portions. I get it. He’s a tough stoic guy. I liked his character throughout. But the MONOTONOUS drone that had little to no inflection was difficult to get through. I was especially disappointed (and dissatisfied 😉) when the anticipated steamy sexy-time finally arrived, and it was through Luca’s POV. All that dirty sexy talk but read in the same monotonous uninflected tone of voice was coma inducing. I’d even be ok if that is just how he sounded when speaking to others, but not his inner dialogues and DEFINITELY not during (supposedly) amazing sex scenes. I kept halfway expecting him to start calling out “Bueller.” “Anyone” “Bueller....”. Seriously, my kindle’s text-to-speech audio narrator voice speaks with more dynamic emotion!
If I didn’t like H. Fielding’s portrayal of Reece and the other characters so much, I would switch to kindle’s text to speech voice.

Soooo Good and unique

I absolutely loved this book. It was so different from your everyday shifter love story. I really love Pack Abernath. This was just such a fun and different tale. I really can’t wait for the next one. It has an amazing narration that will suck you in and have you not wanting to put it down.

5 Misfit stars!

I didn't think I'd like this book more than the first one but I did. I think it was because I am now more familiar with the characters in the pack. I still love Addie and her guys though so I was happy they make multiple appearances. Reese was a great character in her human form and in her "mousy" one. She was strong and funny and you can't help but like her. Luka was pretty amazing too. Hot mechanic?! Yes please! I like that despite not knowing Reese well in the beginning he was always there helping her. Lots of laugh out loud moments but it does end in a somber note with the setup for the next book. I can't wait until the next one is on Audible.

Narrator was geat! She really captured Reese for me. This is is a dual POV book and while I usually don't like one narrator for both I think the narrator did a good job with the male chapters. I did take off one star in the narration since there were not two.

I honestly wasnt sure what to expect when picking up book 2 of Raven Kennedy’s Pack of Misfits series on audiobook. I sped through book 1 with Addie and wasnt sure how I was going to feel about Reese (since it was M/F and not a RH story like I had hoped). Boy was I totally taken aback by it. In a good way, I promise haha.

Reese’s character is so adorable and amazing, I couldn’t get enough of her! In her animal form or normal form, she was innocent but cheeky, strong, yet vulnerable. So much dichotomy, I thought it was refreshing and made me really love her as a character. Her budding relationship with Locknut was also incredibly adorable. Like I couldn’t stop grinning while listening. Well when I wasnt laughing/snorting at some of the situations/one-liners haha. Amazing, amazing story, I am definitely going to be getting the paperbacks of these at some point. I am waiting to listen to book 3 (Jetta) until its audio so I am super excited to see what happens next for the pack. I really enjoyed all the cameos, side characters, shifter animal reveals! I dont think I was bored or unhappy with any of the story or book. I was dreading the time getting closer and closer to zero haha.

In terms of the narration, I thought Raven did a fabulous job picking someone who would do the character justice. Holly did an amazing job!! I loved Addie’s narrator but Holly was perfect. I have nothing bad to say, I think she did Reese and the other voices so much justice. She brought the story to life, the feelings and inflections were spot on. I couldn’t get enough. Another narrator to add to my list of goodies haha.

100% recommend this series, especially on audiobook!
