Stop With the Mysic
Why on earth did they add music.. it adds nothing. downs out the narrator, it sucks lol. the story is great though. Always a fan of the Scarpetta series!

Didnt care for the ominous music they added. If i needed or wanted that, I'd watch TV.

Really Kay?
I'm loving Kate Burton's narration, but for the love of God please ditch the horrendously distracting music that sometimes cuts in at the end of chapters; it is not needed in any universe.
I was not prepared for Red Mist to be Part Two of Port Mortuary, since once I'm invested in a series, I don't read descriptions of the upcoming books, I just plunge ahead in order. Sigh-that was a disappointing discovery ... I was more than ready to be done with all the storylines and secondary characters from that outing, The ridiculousness of Kay and what she will or will not accept as she stumbles through life dragging everyone that worships her through a muck of outrageous coincidences is off the charts in this one. I can't think of anything to say that won't be a spoiler, so will leave it simply as - Really Kay?

Narrator doing male voice not good
Original narrator was best and the stupid sound effects that have been added in the last couple of books makes no sense at all

Stop the Music!
I am listening to all of these books to discover what happens to the characters I've invested so much time in from the beginning of the series. These later books are not as well-written as the earlier ones. They feel churned out. Even this title seems silly and arbitrary. I find for the Audible books that when I get used to a particularly good narrator and then the narrator is switched it is distracting for me. But the most distracting thing is the horrid music! The first time I heard it was late at night, and I honestly thought I was hearing things. It was again arbitrary and so distracting from listening to the story. If I wanted to listen to music, if we can call it that, I'd listen to music. It's too late, I understand but please stop! I honestly want to call it quits and not listen to any more of these books but as mentioned I am invested in finding out what happens to the main characters, Kay, Lucy, Marino, and Benten.
