Pretty good book two

This was a pretty good second book for the series. Continues on in the spirit of the first book and continues to build upon that premise

An enjoyable continuation of a good story

mMC get further into his relationships and find a new interest, generally a solid progression of the story. We learn more of the wizard after him and more of the main character’s powers expand. It was overall a good book with a very good performance from the voice actor’s, made it believable and a fun listen. I hope the story continues as I am enjoying the fea/western theme.

Another great Western.

We get two new girls and one future added. Spic is mouth watering. Great story that shows the start of characters from Dark city girls.

Another hit!

Loving this fantasy western, and the cool way they enchant their weapons and make new things book 2 didn't disappoint Loving the interactions with his women and the way they all show their affection can't wait for book 3.

great story,likable characters, balanced hot sweet,good action and hated villains. Love Love Love the beast master connection to the beastkins.I am excited to see the progression of the bobcat girl.

I really liked the fight against the big bad of the book it was short but they were prepared and they took advantage of their preparations and honestly that revelation wasn't one if you were paying attention. anyway looking forward to the next one

The minor problems from book 1 blown way up.

I'm positive her fans will hate me, but this is not the book for Mandy McCullough. She was the only big issue I had with book 1 and she has a lot more dialogue in this one. Her Southern/old west accents all sound morose or whiny. Part of that is the dialogue of the female characters not being great, none of them really act like they have the western grit we'd expect.

Christopher Harbour when narrating and voicing the MC is very bland, then he'll side swipe you by remembering to put country twang in it and it's jarring. His other characters are great.

Story wise this is 7 hours. If conversations and narrative weren't re-explained, sometimes two or three times, you could probably cut 2 to 2.5 hours. I really like the concept and sometimes speeding through a redundant conversation makes it a mostly good listen. What I said above for the wen applies to a lot of the men. The characters just don't really feel like they belong in the setting besides the MC.
