Hot!!!!

You have to love a romance with this much spice! Never a boring moment :) wow!

An incredible, emotional romance

I adored the Kindle version of this book, and listening to Evan Carolina bring Luke and Cameron to life was even better! If I ever had doubts about how snarky Cam was, the way Evan narrated him cleared that up in a hurry. His brash, determined pursuit of Luke in the beginning made me smile, and I loved how hot their chemistry was right from the start. Luke was understandably hesitant to pursue something with a much younger man, but wow was it satisfying when the two of them came together. Kate writes the most incredible sex scenes, and listening to every vivid detail was mind-blowing in the extreme. What started out as a strictly physical relationship quickly turned into a hazy middle ground of unspoken feelings. There were so many reasons for Cam and Luke to not be together, and the unexpected reveal of their relationship certainly didn't help.

I love how complex and emotional this book was. Luke and Cam experienced loss, change, and self discovery all in a short period of time. Their reactions weren't always perfect; sometimes they had misunderstandings and hurt each others' feelings. They didn't always make the best decisions, but underneath it all was a deep layer of intimacy and warmth that tied Luke and Cameron together when the world tried to force them apart. Even when Luke doubted that he could give Cam what he deserved, even when Cam was lost and so desperately lonely that he lashed out at Luke, they didn't give up on each other. At the end of the day, Luke and Cam made choices and sacrifices to be together. Their happily ever after was hard fought and well-deserved.

Great Story to the start of a series

Luke was getting over dealing with a brake up with his partner, now it was just him and his son Eddie and his friend Cameron was over most of the time. Well, when Cameron had to listen to Eddie wack one out one of the nights he was staying over while Eddie was in the shower, Cameron thought he might as well jerk one out too while he was alone. Cameron didn't time his ending very well and next thing he knew not only was Eddie back in the room, but Eddie's dad was now looking at him and well it made him feel things he didn't know if he wanted to feel. Luke and Cameron started hooking up behind Eddie's back and oh did the steamy fling happen. Both were happy until Cameron's dad died, and he was forced to move to help his brother's run the family hotel. Will distance slip these two up, will the huge age gap be the issue, or will they make it work and be happy for the rest of their life. OMG this audio was amazing, and this story was just as great the brattiness from Cameron with Luke and the steamy chemistry between them was just woah steamy.

Love this book and absolutely adore Evan’s talent!

I was so excited to get the chance to listen and review this book - I am obsessed with this series. Evan is new to me and his voice is simply amazing - his portrayal of Cameron, especially, is sexy and perfect. A must listen - even if you’ve never listed to an audiobook before I encourage you to pick this up! Absolutely gorgeous!!

Huge hit! I just might be an audiobook fan now!

Mr. Carolina speaks so well, so smoothly, and so in character that I can picture everything. Kate Hawthorne writes amazing stories, and Evan has brought her characters to life. I can't wait for the next book!

Absolute Fire

I was already a Kate Hawthorne fan and loved Reckless. Evan Carolina’s voice is addicting. I could listen to him read the phone book and probably still be turned on. Evan does an amazing job bringing Kate’s characters and words to life. I highly recommend this audio book.

Holy Moly Hot Hot Hot

This book is fire! Kate Hawthornes words are beautiful, kinky, and heartfelt all at the same time. Evan Carolina just brings these characters to life his narration is fire!!! It blew me away! You definitely need to give this a listen!

Reckless is one of my favorite books of Kate’s and now with this audio, the story is so much more! Evan Carolina did a great job with Cam and Luke voices. Damn if the story is so hot and now with the sighs and moans is hotter than ever. I cannot wait for the rest of the series! I highly recommended this audiobook!

Evan Carolina bringing Kate Hawthorne's "Motel boys" to life is just beautiful. I can't wait for the rest of the series. He made Cameron's emotions in this book real. I could literally feel them all. I laughed, and I definitely cried. ❤

Fantastic book!

I really enjoyed this book, but as well I loved the narrator! He really did a great job making sure everyones voice was different but identifiable. The story was great and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
