Best way to learn!

It is commonly known that music/songs are much easier to recall than simply spoken prose. Please, please, please make more of these lessons/songs in Russian. It's a brilliant idea! I'd buy every one you make. Спасибо!

Worth it for beginner.

Pros: catchy way to learn words

Cons: You don't learn a lot of words. I would be interested in a continued series. I wish the first chapter was broken up into smaller sections.

great language learning tool

Each lesson is a different topic. Some build on previous lessons and some stand alone. The English guy says what he wants to say and the Russian gal says it in Russian. Then they break it down into easy to learn chunks, point out key words and phrases, sometimes cover some grammar, work on pronunciation, etc. I studied Russian for three years in high school and I was still learning new vocabulary and word usage. I would definitely recommend.

Only complaint is that the entire first volume is one very long chapter. The second volume is broken up by lesson, which is much easier to navigate.

Fun way to practice

I really have enjoyed this approach to practicing my Russian. I'll continue listening to this and will update my review in a couple of months to see how well it worked as far as retaining the phrases.

Strange but good!

I would recommend this for learning basic phrases for travel or interactions. I am trying to learn more traditionally and this is still a nice supplement. Comes with a helpful vocabulary PDF to read along to. I find the music helpful and makes it good for falling asleep to.

I only wish the first section was broken into smaller tracks instead of one long audio. Makes it harder to delisted to specific lessons. I guess that is what bookmarks are for!

Finally Learning to Speak A Foreign Language<br /><br />

I've bought every CD, program and book possible and still couldn't have a conversation. This downloads on my phone. tablet and computer and just plays. I picked the language up naturally. Worth every cent and wasn't expensive.

Good and relaxing language lessons for beginners. Good for tourists going to Russia with no Russia without any Russian background. Kindly fix the PDF download.
