I love how Ava Richardson always finds new stories where the unexpected turns out to be a new possibility for a better life. Review your own shackles of tradition, understand other points of view to make your own beliefs.
The narrator is not really up to the task, more empathy would be needed so that emotions can be better expressed.

Awesome mix of earth, another realm. magic, dragon

I have listened to over 20 of Ava Richardson's books so far and enjoyed every one.

This series is different than the others I have listened to because it now has alternate realms and various magic creatures involved. I love it! I am writing this review before I have even finished the series. I am half wa through book two right now and will update my review when I am finished.

I like how Yanna has an open mind and is learning the other side to all she was taught by her family about witches. She comes face to face with creatures she previously thought of as monsters or only fantasy, and learns to appreciate their differences.
The magic in this world interestingly unique. There is more I am sure, at this point Yanna is still learning what she and others are capable of.

The characters all have their own motivations and personalities that Rebekah does a great job portraying. She puts just the right amount of feeling, emphasis and personality into the characters. She is an excellent audio performer.

I also appreciate how there is not swearing or sex and so far the violence has been superficially described. My son loves dragon stories and he is 10. So far it seems he will be able to listen to this book and he is excitedly waiting until I give the go ahead.

Great Boxed Set

This was a great boxed set filled with a series that will keep you coming back for more thanks to the endearing characters and engaging story lines. Rebekah Nemethy did a fantastic job of bringing these stories to life and making this a fun listen.

What an outstanding cast of characters and a great collection of stories. All the stories are so good with so much action, adventure, drama, and so thrilling. I enjoyed every minute.

Well written YA fantasy

This was a very enjoyable series to listen to. This is my first experience with the author and narrator, and enjoyed both. I would have liked to see a little more growth in the relationship between Yanna and Harden, but if you are looking for a series that is very PG, this is perfect for you.

Great listen

This is an all in one 30 hour holiday. Great coming of age storyline,well narrated and produced. The characters are well crafted with a great story line. Best thing about this boxed book set is it’s all here,no waiting for years for the next installment, its all here start to finish. This may be one of the best deals in Audibles library.

Interesting story kept me engaged

Very nice spin of a portal fantasy. The author did a great job of blending modern to more of a medieval type setting. Narrator did a good job. She sounded almost uncertain and under confident but that matched Yonnas personality well. Ava Richardson has captivated me once again.

very original and captivating story line with enough fabric to let the listener really grab a hold of the story an not wanna let go. thank you

definitely a fantasy drama

I loved book one, book two and three were not as engaging. The concept and world was very well thought out and orchestrated. as a male who loves fantasy, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, etc. I found this to be more of a chick flick, with very minimal action and a lot of melodrama with the majority of the book being based around the main characters insecure thoughts and feelings. I did not rate this book any worse than I did for the simple fact that I can tell a lot of work went into it and the narrator is very skilled at what she does. As a fellow narrator of my first 19-hour book The Legend of Levitika The City of Angels I can appreciate what was done here and the amount of work that went into it, and blood sweat and tears. Good job overall, keep at it!

The book started up real slow, it got to some interesting parts dealing with the time travel and space travel, other than that the book in the storyline was a really really really good, I enjoyed it
